  1. etiquette (pg 1)- the customary code of polite behavior in society or among members of a particular profession or group.
  2. immaculately (pg 2)- in a perfectly clean, neat, or tidy manner.
  3. foyer (pg 2)- an entrance hall or other open area in a building used by the public, especially a hotel or theater.
  4. arcane (pg 3)- understood by few; mysterious or secret.
  5. incessant (pg 5)- continuing without pause or interruption.
  6. sentient (pg 6)- able to perceive or feel things.
  7. facade (pg 7)- the face of a building, especially the principal front that looks onto a street or open space.
  8. munitions (pg 11)- military weapons, ammunition, equipment, and stores.

  5. heaved (pg 29)- lift or haul (a heavy thing) with great effort.
  6. grumbled (pg 34)- complain or protest about something in a bad-tempered but typically muted way.
  7. momentous (pg 39)- of great importance or significance, especially in its bearing on the future.
  8. disgruntled (pg 43)- angry or dissatisfied.
